TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — A green liquid poured from the ceiling in Concourse G at Miami International Airport Thursday morning.
The liquid turned out to have come from a broken pipe in the concourse, airport officials said. The liquid was not hazardous.
Video from NBC Miami showed liquid seeping from the ceiling of the terminal in front of stunned onlookers.
An airport spokesman said the fluid appeared to be water from the air conditioning system. The water has a green dye so that in the event of a leak it can be traced back to the source.
It took about 90 minutes for crews to clear the mess.
