While the murders themselves are particularly gruesome here, what really makes it special is In a violent nature so fascinating is the way the whole thing starts to seem much more mundane once you’re disconnected from the perspective of the victims being slaughtered. It’s a brilliant reminder that a film like Halloween is only a few degrees separated from something like John Wick.
